The SoHo Memory Project has partnerships with the following institutions and organizations for current and upcoming programs:
The Uni Project, a nonprofit dedicated to creating pop-up learning experiences across the city, is working with SMP to create a mobile historical society that presents SoHo’s significant history to the public.
StoryCorps will host a day of recording with SoHo pioneers in October 2015 at their recording booth in downtown Manhattan.
The New York Public Library will partner with SMP on an oral history project to record interviews with SoHo residents from January through July 2016
SMP is a proud member of NYC Landmarks 50, who is committed to informing and educating the public about historic preservation in New York City.
The Soho Arts Network is a working network of non-profit art spaces in SoHo. SAN celebrates the rich history of SoHo’s unique creative community and collectively shares its distinctive cultural contributions to the lives of residents and visitors.
SMP is also pleased to be a parter with The SoHo Design District, whose mission is to promote Soho, NY as a premier destination for world-renowned design and to preserve Soho’s unique history as a global center for creativity.
